Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. Her best-known role is Skyler White on her role on the AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as a child at Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her passion for performing on theatre. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student through Northwestern University. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for a number of years before taking on film and television parts. Anna received her breakthrough in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore. At the beginning of 1990, Anna was a frequent guest in TV and film, such as Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years on Deadwood's season two. Skyler was her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully and Deadwood are also a the highlights of her work. Gunn was a part of David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. In 2022 the actress also appeared in a series of podcast of audio plays called"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate ending mirrors the last decades of Walter White.
